Phil Jakeway is the President of Premier Private Equity Placements, where he leads all aspects of the firm’s executive search engagements for private equity clients.

Prior to founding the firm, Phil spent more than a decade with Lincolnshire Management, serving as a Managing Director on the Operations Team and as Chief Talent Officer. In that role, he was responsible for recruiting and hiring C-level leadership across the firm’s portfolio companies, including CEOs, CFOs, COOs, and other senior executives. He led the search, interview, and selection process for leadership teams at companies such as Dalbo, Latite, Schumacher Electric, True Temper Sports, Nursery Supply Industries, and others.

Phil built and managed a network of top executive search partners and played a central role in identifying and placing leaders capable of driving performance across a diverse range of portfolio companies. He also led Lincolnshire’s internal efforts to recruit high-performing analysts and associates supporting due diligence and portfolio operations.

Earlier in his career, Phil was the founder and CEO of both the American Business Institute and The Supporting Cast, a New York-based staffing company.

He holds a BA from Georgetown University and an MBA from Columbia University.
